Many things unite this great team but the top of the list is a dedication to sport and an uncompromising commitment to excellence. That outlook was reflected in each team members upbringing and continues today in the way they work together.

Marty Turco

Marty was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, ON, Canada where his love of Canada’s great outdoors began. Marty was raised on the rink and attended the University of Michigan to play hockey. As the Wolverines netminder, Marty lead the team to a national championship in 1996 and 1998. Marty recorded 127 wins which stands today as the all time win record in the NCAA. From there, he was drafted to the NHL in 1994 in the 5th round where be became a 3-time All-Star.

During his career, Turco represented Canada at international competitions including the Olympics, two World Championships, and a Spengler Cup. Now in retirement, Marty has turned his interest to beer. His commitment and dedication is reflected in the products produced by the Kingsville Brewing Co.

Mark Muzzin
Owner/Operations Manager

Cousin of Marty, Mark was born in Windsor, ON, Canada. An accomplished musician who also happens to be a naturally gifted athlete, Mark embodies the entrepreneurial spirit. Mark got his start in Kingsville with his wife when they opened the Butcher of Kingsville, a successful butcher shop on the main drag in town. Focused on producing flavours as unique as his outlook on life he is the heart and soul behind Kingsville Brewing Co.

Paul Sguigna

Also from Sault Ste. Marie, ON. Growing up Paul was a phenom on the gridiron. Attending the University of Waterloo where is played centre on the football team. Paul was outstanding in all 5 years he competed. Racking up countless awards including two OUA All-star awards and two CIAU (U Sports) All Star Awards. After graduation, Paul was inducted to the University of Waterloo Sport Hall of Fame. Paul has been in the beer industry since 2002. He is the brains (and braun) of Kingsville Brewing Co.

Derek Bilokraly
Director of Brewing Operations

Born in Windsor, ON and raised on the family farm in Blytheswood, Derek’s mechanical curiosity and love of the outdoors began at an early age. A small town brewery tour during a paddling trip in 1999 led to the quick purchase of a beer making kit and kicked off the passion for homebrewing. After living away for a number of years, Derek returned to the county and found himself next door to Mark and the two connected with tales of canoe trips, food, drink, and music.

Jeff Wiper
Corporate Chef & Tap Room General Manager

Born in London, ON and raised in Leamington, ON Jeff’s love and work experience  in the food service and the hospitality industry started at the young age of 14. (First Job was at Colasanti’s) While growing up and spending most weekends travelling with family for hockey and ball tournaments, 

Jeff was lucky enough to be introduced to a wide variety of different restaurant experiences. After starting his hospitality journey in Leamington, Jeff continued on to college in London, Ontario where he was an award-winning graduate of the Food and Beverage Management Program. Jeff worked in the Hospitality industry in London for ten years before relocating to Nova Scotia where he met his wife.

After returning to Kingsville, the pair have been the owners of another local establishment here in the County for the last few years but after having the opportunity to meet Izabela and Mark through their local collaborative restaurant group here in Kingsville, Jeff saw a great opportunity to team up and come on board with The Kingsville Brewery and Butcher of Kingsville Team and explore this exciting opportunity!
